Hello,
While looking up an ancestry query I have come accross your entry. I was looking for W.G. Chancellor who had a business at 55 Lower Sackville Street Jewellery/ Watch & Clock Maker business at that address in 1850.
Can you tell me if there is a connection here at all?
Cheers
Margie

Hi Margie,
I’m afraid I know no more than you see here. Someone named Chancellor of that address was the photographer of the earliest of our family photos that I know of. The subject was born in 1842 (probably) and married in 1873. I’d love to date the photo accurately. Do you know how long the Chancellors had the business in Sackville St., or at what stage they branched into photography?
